TRAVELLING INTO SARAWAK DURING THE RECOVERY MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (RMCO)
ALL Travelers entering Sarawak MUST apply to enter Sarawak.
All Sarawakians, Malaysian and non Malaysian that wishes to enter Sarawak from West Malaysia, Sabah and Labuan are required to undergo rT-PCR COVID-19 test 3 days / 72 hours before entry to Sarawak
Test result must be negative and attached in enterSarawak application

Step 1: Before Travel

It takes minimum of 3 working days for SDMC to process your approval. Please apply early ,read carefully and attach all necessary documents before you submit your application
Submit eHealth Declaration Form (eHDF)
Step 2: Click HERE and submit your eHDF
The eHDF has a validity of 12 hours, please only submit this within 12 hours before you arrive in Sarawak
Step 3: Upon Arrival
At the port of disembarkation in Sarawak, show your QR code page to the relevant authorities as needed.
Sarawak Government will bear the cost of Quarantine & Swab test ONLY FOR Sarawakian or Government Officer /Civil Servant on duty.
TRANSIT CONDITIONS
Transit within Sarawak is NOT ALLOWED. All Travellers will be Quarantined at 1st Point of Entry
FOR SARAWAKIAN
FROM SABAH & LABUAN
Sabah COVID-19 Disaster Management Committee requires all exit from Sabah to have rt-Antigen or rt-PCR test result negative within 3 days from exiting.

- Marriage Cert (if required)

MANDATORY QUARANTINE ORDER – 14 Days Quarantine at Quarantine Centre. Swab on Day 2 and Day 10
FROM SABAH & LABUAN (BY LAND)
Frequent Travelers including Delivery Services from Sabah/Labuan, entering by Land, is to obtain SPECIAL PASS from Residen Miri or Limbang and to have negative rt-PCR COVID-29 result (valid for 14 days).

- Copy of Identity Card / Passport
- Special Pass Approval from Residen Miri or Limbang
- Valid Negative rt-PCR Test Result (valid for 14 days)
- Letter from Company / Employee on movement
- Approval to enter Sabah
- Police Permit needed during CMCO (13 January – 26 January 2021)
FROM WEST MALAYSIA
Documents Required:
- Copy of Identity Card
- Flight Itinerary
- Birth Cert (if required)
- Marriage Cert (if required)

- Valid rt-PCR Tests Result before entering Malaysia
Allowed to transit and Quarantine in Sarawak (Subjected to transit policy)

FOR NON- SARAWAKIAN , MM2H , S-MM2H and Non-Malaysians
FROM SABAH/LABUAN- NON-SARAWAKIAN
Non-Malaysians and Non-Sarawakians in Sabah/Labuan are NOT ALLOWED to enter EXCEPT for those under ESSENTIAL SERVICES

QUARANTINE ORDER – 14 Days Quarantine at Quarantine Centre. Swab on Day 2 and Day 10
FROM WEST MALAYSIA – NON-SARAWAKIAN
All Non-Sarawakians and Non-Malaysians (who have been in Malaysia more than 30 days) entering from West Malaysia is required to REQUEST APPROVAL to enter Sarawak by filling in EnterSarawak and E-HDF.

- Letter from Employee / Company stating reasoning of enter
- Flight Itinerary
- Return Flight Tickets (if applicable)

QUARANTINE ORDER – 14 Days Quarantine at Quarantine Centre. Swab on Day 2 and Day 10
FROM WEST MALAYSIA (OFFICIAL/BUSINESS/ESSENTIAL SERVICES)
All Non-Sarawakians and Non-Malaysians (who have been in Malaysia more than 30 days) entering from West Malaysia for Essential Services or Official Duty is required to REQUEST APPROVAL to enter Sarawak by filling in EnterSarawak and E-HDF
Personal Reasons or for Holiday is not permitted
Documents Required:
- Invitation Letter to attend meeting in Sarawak stating no alternative arrangements able to be done under Covid-19 Act/Ordinance, 2020
- Return Flight Tickets max 3 Days 2 Nights
- Valid Negative rt-PCR Test Result 3 days before entering Sarawak
- Police Permit needed during CMCO (13 January – 26 January 2021)
EXEMPTION Allow for maximum of 3 Days 2 Nights Only
QUARANTINE ORDER – Returning after 3 Days 2 Nights
FROM OVERSEAS (NON-SARAWAKIANS)
Non-Sarawakians QUARANTINED at 1st POINT OF ENTRY (KL)
For entries via Singapore, Brunei or by land from Indonesia, they can be QUARANTINED at 1st POINT OF ENTRY (Sarawak)
Documents Required
- Copy of Passport / Valid Permit
- Flight Itinerary
- Approved myTravel Pass
- Annex 17 (for those quarantined in KL)
- Letter of Undertaking on Payment for Quarantine and COVID-19 rt-PCR Test
IF 2nd test at 1st Point of Entry is rt-Antigen or rt-Antibody before entering Sarawak – Subjected to QUARANTINE ORDER FOR 14 DAYS
IF the 2nd test at 1st Point of Entry is rt-PCR and immediately enter Sarawak within 24 hours. – Take 1st Swab in Sarawak and will be quarantine until negative result is released
FOR OIL AND GAS (SIGN ON AND SIGN OFF)
NOTE:
Sign On and Sign Off will be issued Quarantine Order
Sabah/Labuan MyKAD holder will be rejected.
Company will pay for crew’s quarantine and swab for day 2 & 8
Documents Required:
- Copy of MyKad
- Flight ticket/ itinerary
- Letter of Undertaking from Company
- Supporting documents such as letter of employment / work permit
FROM SARAWAK TO WEST MALAYSIA (EXIT SARAWAK)
For those who needs to attend Official Meetings / Essential Services in West Malaysia
Personal Reasons or Non- Essential Travelling is NOT ALLOWED
- Letter of Invitation stating no alternative arrangements able to be done under Covid-19 Act/Ordinance, 2020
- Support Letter / Approval from Head of Department (SUK / SUP / CP / PMT)
- Travel Itinerary
EXEMPTION Allow for maximum of 3 Days 2 Nights Only
